Our modern, well-maintained fleet?equipped with tailgates?ensures that we provide reliable, efficient, and high-quality transportation solutions to our clients across the province. *Overview:* We are seeking a skilled and dependable AZ Truck Driver to join our logistics team for local Ontario routes. This role involves day shifts operating a day cab truck, focusing on efficient, safe, and timely transportation within the province. The ideal candidate will have a solid commitment to safety and customer service, ensuring that all deliveries meet our high standards. *Responsibilities:* * Operate a day cab truck to safely transport freight on local routes within Ontario * Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles, ensuring compliance with all safety regulations * Manage routes effectively, considering traffic and weather conditions for timely deliveries * Maintain accurate logs of hours driven, miles traveled, and fuel usage, per legal requirements * Load and unload freight as necessary, occasionally using forklifts or other equipment * Communicate with dispatch regarding delays or issues that arise during transport * Perform minor repairs and maintenance on the vehicle as needed to keep it in optimal condition *Experience & Requirements:* * Valid AZ driver?s license with a clean driving record * Minimum 3 years of AZ Truck Driver experience OR completion of the advanced MELT (Mandatory Entry-Level Training) course * Knowledge of Ontario highways and local routes preferred * Experience with freight handling procedures and safety regulations * Forklift operation experience is an asset * Basic understanding of automotive repair is a plus * Strong communication skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team * Accurately complete all necessary paperwork *What We Offer:* * Hourly pay with competitive rates * Overtime pays after 60 hours per week * A completely air-conditioned fleet * Local routes within Ontario?be home every night! * Supportive team environment with growth potential * Well-maintained, growing fleet designed for local logistics * A company that values your expertise and dedication If you are interested in this position, please submit your resume to: Jason@ellaslogistics.com or apply directly through indeed!
