An average day in the pest control industry is never average. Service technicians encounter a variety of situations keeping the day interesting and engaging. You will come across:
* Rodents (Rats and Mice)
* Insects (Silverfish, Cockroaches, Ants, Bedbugs)
* Wasps (Seasonal)
Visiting a variety of locations throughout the workday, you will find yourself completing service calls at residential homes and complexes, warehouses, restaurants, civic facilities, social housing sites and more. At each location, a Service Technicians? duties range to include but not limited to;
* liaising with building managers and residents
* inspecting for points of entry
* applying pesticides
* servicing rodent and insect devices
* conducting insect treatments
* composing service reports
* giving recommendations and sharing your knowledge.

_Pest knowledge or relevant experience is not required but an asset! _
All new hires receive hands-on learning through our in house training program facilitated by various members of our management and technical staff, preparing you for this fascinating career!
*What do you need to get started?:*
* Valid class 5 BC Driver's license ? clean abstract required.
* Grade 12 Diploma or equivalent.
* Structural - Integrated Pest Certificate (an asset but not required)
* Ability to perform physical activities such as lifting and crouching.
* Ability to work in a variety of work conditions such as outside in the elements and indoors within crawlspaces & attics.
* Strong understanding of English to ensure communication with clients through verbal discussions and written reports.
* Ability to organize workday tasks with minimal supervision.
*Additional Information:*
* Office located in Port Coquitlam (not required to go to office everyday, only for supplies as needed)

Pay: $800.00-$1,100.00 per week
