<p>Elementary Occasional Teacher<p>Long-Term AssignmentAssignment: 1.0 FTE - Grade 1 French Immersion <p>Start Date: Immediate to date unknown<p>Rate of Pay: $54,244-$117,028 as outlined in the EFTO-OT Collective Agreement; prorated based on FTE accordingly<p>Avon Maitland District School Board (AMDSB) provides first class education to students and families throughout Huron and Perth Counties. I am engaged. <p>Our vision is to engage , inspire, innovate , because we are always learning . <p>Required Qualifications Must hold the required divisional qualifications, as noted above, in order to be eligible for this position;<p> Membership with the Ontario College of Teachers in good standing;<p> Demonstrated experience in the assigned duties of a teacher as outline in Regulation 298: Operation of Schools;<p> Proven ability to maintain discipline in the classroom (classroom management);<p> Demonstrated ability to work cooperatively in a team environment;<p> Experience working with G-Suite (Gmail, Google Classroom, Google Docs, Google Sheets, etc.) and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Teams, etc.) products;Compensation Package Details: <p>Pension Plan : Defined pension plan through Ontario Teachers Pension Plan (TPP)<p>Health & Dental Benefits : Benefits may be provided through Ontario Teachers Insurance Plan (OTIP)<p> Comprehensive short-term coverage plans<p> Employee Assistance Program (EAP) through TELUS which includes:<p> 24/7 confidential support<p> Access to information on personal fitness, nutrition, career, financial and legal advice; relationship & family support, and overall wellbeing resources.N ote - A criminal background check will be part of the recruitment process.<p>Why Join AMDSB?
