Job Overview: We are seeking a skilled Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate will Duties: * Reviewing the scope-of-work document to understand the project's requirements * assessing building plans and specs * visiting construction sites to learn more about the project * compiling a list of materials necessary to complete the project and estimating their costs * maintaining a directory of supplies, subcontractors, and contractors * obtaining quotes from multiple suppliers and contractors to find the most suitable one * collaborating with project managers, contractors, engineers, and suppliers to prepare accurate estimates * outlining the required work to estimate labour costs * conducting risk assessments and accounting for cost deviations * drafting proposals that outline the project's required materials, costs, and timeline * finding ways to lower project costs to adhere to a set budget Qualifications: - Proven working experience as a Project Manager and Estimator -AutoCAD - Strong knowledge of construction and project management - Excellent organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking abilities - Experience in team management and supervision This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated individual looking to make a significant impact within our organization.
