We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented *full Shipper and Receiver *to join our warehouse team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that products are accurately prepared and shipped in a timely manner. This role requires strong organizational skills and the ability to operate various types of heavy equipment safely. The Shipper will play a crucial role in maintaining inventory accuracy and supporting overall warehouse operations. *Duties* * Prepare orders for shipment by verifying product quantities and specifications. * Operate heavy equipment, including forklifts, cranes, and order pickers, to move products within the warehouse. * Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) to track inventory levels and manage order fulfillment processes. * Build and package products securely for transport to prevent damage during shipping. * Conduct regular inspections of equipment to ensure safe operation and report any maintenance needs. * Collaborate with team members to maintain an organized and efficient warehouse environment. * Assist in receiving incoming shipments and updating inventory records accordingly. *Requirements* * Proficient in heavy equipment operation, including forklifts and cranes. * Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment issues as they arise. * Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and order fulfillment processes. * Experience working in a warehouse setting, demonstrating an understanding of safety protocols. * Ability to operate order pickers efficiently while adhering to safety guidelines. * Operates computer and scanning tools, and enters all relevant coding in Canadian Tire systems. * Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively. * knowledge in SPS commerce Microsoft word & excel. * must be legal working in Canada . *Benefits* *Dental care- Life insurance-paid time off- vision care-on site parking* J*oin our team as a Shipper and contribute to our commitment to delivering quality products while ensuring operational excellence in our warehouse.* Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: $21.00-$24.00 per hour Expected hours: 42.50 per week Additional pay: * Bonus pay * Overtime pay Benefits: * Casual dress * Dental care * Extended health care * Life insurance * On-site parking * Vision care Schedule: * Monday to Friday Education: * AEC / DEP or Skilled Trade Certificate (preferred) Experience: * warehouse: 3 years (preferred) Licence/Certification: * Class G Licence (preferred) Work Location: In person Application deadline: 2024-11-18 Expected start date: 2024-11-18- LocationMississauga, ON
