Job Description EPUC Child Care Centre is currently hiring Registered Early Childhood Educators who are enthusiastic, nurturing and dedicated to making a difference in children?s lives. *POSITIONS AVAILABLE:* *Registered Early Childhood Educator (Copy of Diploma and Current Registration Number with the College of Early Childhood Educators required)* *QUALTIFICATIONS REQUIRED:* ECE diploma RECE?s must be registered with the College of Early Childhood Educators Valid Standard First Aid and child CPR certification Up-to- date immunization record including at least 2 doses of Covid-19 vaccination Experience in a child care setting is an asset Experience developing and implementing emergent programs which incorporate ELECT infant to school age, is an asset Tablet/Computer literacy skills are an asset Ability to work with families in complex situations and from a variety of cultures, and differing family values and beliefs Able to work flexible hours (between 7:30 a.m. to 6 p.m.) ? hours may need to be altered according to Centre needs Able to work outside of centre?s operational hours (i.e., to attend attending meetings/workshops, etc.). Able to work effectively in a team setting Able to work independently (demonstrated leadership skills) Strong communication and interpersonal skills ? able to communicate positively and effectively with children, parents, colleagues Knowledge of the Ministry of Education?s Child Care and Early Years Act, 2014 Able to take initiative in daily duties and delegated tasks Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: $23.00-$25.00 per hour Expected hours: 40 per week Additional pay: * Overtime pay Benefits: * Dental care * Extended health care * Life insurance * On-site childcare * On-site parking * Paid time off * Vision care Schedule: * 8 hour shift * Monday to Friday Work Location: In person- LocationBurlington, ON
