*Job Overview* We are seeking a reliable and motivated Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations while ensuring timely and safe delivery. This role requires excellent driving skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to providing exceptional service. *Duties* * Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport goods to designated locations. * Load and unload freight, ensuring proper handling of items. * Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations. * Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation. * Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery status and any issues that may arise. * Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while on the road. * Assist in the maintenance of the vehicle, including basic automotive repairs when necessary. *Skills* * Proficiency in commercial driving with a valid driver's license. * Experience in operating forklifts and heavy equipment is preferred. * Knowledge of freight handling procedures. * Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot minor mechanical issues. * Excellent time management skills to ensure timely deliveries. * Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. * Strong communication skills for effective interaction with customers and team members.
