*About Us:* Dreamisland Daycare is a vibrant, new childcare center in Vernon, BC, dedicated to nurturing children aged 2.5 years to school age. Our goal is to provide a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment that promotes the growth and development of each child. *Job Description:* As an ECE/ECEA, you will be responsible for implementing engaging and educational activities, maintaining a safe and inclusive environment, and supporting the development and well-being of each child. You will work closely with our team to create a positive experience for children and families. *Key Responsibilities:* * Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that foster creativity, development, and learning * Maintain a safe, clean, and organized environment * Build positive relationships with children, families, and other staff members * Follow licensing requirements and center policies to ensure quality care and safety * Assist with daily routines, including snack time, naptime, and outdoor play *Qualifications:* * Valid Early Childhood Educator (ECE) or Early Childhood Educator Assistant (ECEA) certification (BC ECE Registry certification required) * Strong understanding of child development principles * Effective communication and teamwork skills * Current First Aid and CPR certification * Clear criminal record check *Wage:* * *ECEA:* $17 per hour * *ECE:* $18 per hour + $6 wage enhancement *Why Join Us?* * Supportive and collaborative work environment * Opportunities for professional growth and development * Be part of a passionate team dedicated to making a positive impact on children's lives *How to Apply:* Please submit your resume and a cover letter via Indeed or directly to DREAMISLANDDAYCARE@YAHOO.COM, explaining why you would be a great fit for our team at Dreamisland Daycare.
