*Working Hours: *8:15 am to 5:00 pm *Position Objectives: *Supporting the finance department, accountant, and management team by completing routine clerical and accounting tasks. Preparing budgets, maintaining reports, and completing basic bookkeeping and accounting duties for the company. *Responsibilities:* · Manage all accounting transactions · Handle monthly, quarterly and annual closings · Reconcile accounts payable and receivable · Ensure timely bank payments · Manage balance sheets and profit/loss statements · Resolving errors in financial reports and correcting faulty reporting methods · Audit financial transactions and documents Reinforce financial data confidentiality and conduct database backups when necessary · Comply with financial policies and regulations *Requirements:* · Three years work experience as an Accountant · Strong Written and Oral Communication Skills · Excellent knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures · Advanced MS Excel skills including Vlookups and pivot tables · Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills · Strong Bookkeeping Skills · Ability to work independently · Advanced knowledge and experience of spread sheets Job Type: Full-time Pay: From $20.00 per hour Benefits: * Dental care * Life insurance * Paid time off * Vision care Schedule: * Monday to Friday Education: * Secondary School (preferred) Experience: * Accounting: 1 year (preferred) Language: * English (preferred) Licence/Certification: * Chartered Professional Accountant (preferred) Work Location: In person- LocationMississauga, ON
