The job is very straightforward and can be physically demanding with the requirement to lift and carry up to 80-100 lbs repetitively. Our trucks travel all across the province and into British Columbia, Saskatchewan, and Manitoba. Traveling may be offered to you. As a *Furniture Mover*, you will actively participate in all aspects of the moving process which will include, * Padding and protecting the client's furniture. * Packing the client's boxes. * Disassembling and reassembling the client's furniture with basic hand tools. * Furniture tagging and inventory list management. * Loading / stacking items and furniture in the truck. * Unloading of the truck and staging of the customer's home to their preference. * Understanding our customer's requirements and execution of job duties and responsibilities above and beyond their expectations. * Taking direction and guidance from your team leader. * Utilizing our scheduling application (Jobber) *What We Offer*: * A starting wage of *$20.00 - $22.00* per hour depending on experience in the moving industry * A tip-friendly environment that will amount to an extra *$2.00-4.00* an hour. * Full benefits plan after 6 months. * Year-round work, and long-term growth opportunities. * Advancement opportunity to a driver/team lead position which starts at *$26.00/hr*. We do ask that candidates complete a background check.
