We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Inventory Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing inventory levels, ensuring accuracy in stock counts, and supporting the overall efficiency of our supply chain operations. This position requires proficiency in various inventory management systems and tools, along with strong analytical skills to drive process improvements and optimize inventory performance.
*Responsibilities*
* Monitor and maintain accurate inventory levels using MRP systems and analytics tools.
* Conduct regular audits of inventory to ensure data integrity and identify discrepancies.
* Utilize data visualization tools such as Tableau and Power BI to present inventory metrics and trends.
* Collaborate with demand planning teams to forecast inventory needs based on sales trends and market analysis.
* Implement process improvement initiatives to enhance inventory management practices.
* Assist in materials management by coordinating with suppliers and internal departments to ensure timely delivery of products.
* Analyze inventory turnover rates and recommend strategies for optimizing stock levels.
* Support the sales team by providing accurate inventory information to facilitate order fulfillment.
*Requirements*
* Strong understanding of inventory management principles and practices.
* Proficiency in MRP systems, analytics, and data visualization tools such as Tableau and Power BI.
* Experience in demand planning and materials management is highly desirable.
* Excellent analytical skills with a focus on process improvement.
* Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
* Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
* Familiarity with supply chain operations is a plus.
