Job details
Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. Work setting: Manufacture. Tasks: Prepare bills of lading, invoices and other shipping documents. Inspect and verify incoming goods against invoices or other documents. Record shortages and reject damaged goods. Pack goods to be shipped. Unpack goods received. Check products for quality and other specifications. Arrange for shipping, receiving and storage. Ship orders. Verify dimensions of parts machined using precise measuring instruments (e.g., micrometers, calipers). Read blueprints and drawings. Measuring tools: Gauges. Verniers. Computer and technology knowledge: MS Windows. Equipment and machinery experience: Dollies and hand trucks. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Attention to detail. Standing for extended periods. Weight handling: Up to 23 kg (50 lbs). Personal suitability: Accurate. Dependability. Organized. Reliability. Team player.
