We are currently seeking a candidate for a fabrication/ vinyl technician role. This candidate would perform a variety of fabricating and installation tasks, depending on need. Our ideal candidate would have experience working with vinyl graphics in a variety of projects, however we are willing to train the right person. They will be expected to work with many types of materials and fabrication methods, as well as perform installations at a variety of customer locations. Must be skilled with common hand and power tools, be able to follow layouts, and use problem solving ability to complete required tasks. Attention to detail is crucial for this position. Interpersonal skills are also required for interacting with customers and ensuring satisfaction when working on installs. Fabrication work will be primarily at our shop, but installations are often outside, year-round and/or at heights. Respect for safety guidelines and regulations is essential. Working at Heights, Aerial Lift training and specialty petroleum safety (POST) certificates are required, however this training will be provided. Worker must provide own steel-toed boots (CSA approved with electrical protection). We will supply other required safety equipment. We are looking for someone dependable, organized with good communication skills, who takes pride in their work. All applicants must have a valid Ontario Driver?s License with a clean abstract to be considered. Our shop is located in a rural area, so you must have/arrange your own transportation to and from work. We offer a competitive wage and an opportunity for group health benefits.
