The ideal candidate is a team player with a positive attitude who can effectively handle physical and manual work in an industrial environment, and can make a positive contribution to the team. *What this job involves:* * Operation of induction furnaces. * Buffing, grinding, and cleaning of finished metal products. * Able to handle chemicals and acids in a safe manner. * Cleaning and minor maintenance of equipment. * Transporting large barrels of batch process material using material handling equipment several times per shift. * Repetitive manual scooping of material from cells. * Monitoring and treating large chemical batch processes. * Heavy repetitive lifting of up to 60lbs on a frequent basis. * Perform work in a safe manner, able to wear appropriate PPE, and follow all safety policies and procedures. * Performs other job-related tasks as required. *What we are looking for:* * Two years experience in an industrial manufacturing / production environment performing physical / manual work. * Experience working with chemicals and acids in an industrial setup, with a strong background in adhering to safety protocols. * Able to lift up to 60lbs on a repetitive basis. * Previous experience working with molten metals within a melting, foundry or casting environment preferred * Must be able to work rotating shifts (days, afternoons and nights) and weekends as required on full time basis. * Must be comfortable working within a hot environment and wearing personal protective equipment. * Experience driving a forklift is an asset. * Good verbal and written communication skills with ability to communicate with team members. * Good mathematical skills.
