In this role, you will : Responsibility 1: Planning & Coordination Contributes to the confirmation of project scope, standards, and goals that support the evolution of the Creating Safe Environments (CSE) Recovery program. Where required, supports design of program activities to meet intended recovery outcomes including identification and design of supportive partnerships, tools and resources. Ensures there is strategic and equitable access to CRC services and programs across 2023 impacted Indigenous communities. Ensures cultural safety guides the approach to our work and recovery planning; and attends appropriate coordination and planning tables. Responsibility 2: External Relationships Supports government and external relations on matters relevant to CSE Recovery. Represents the Red Cross on key committees and working groups, including provincial initiatives related to topical issues impacting impacted Indigenous communities, as it relates to the impacted communities within the Recovery Operation and CSE Framework/scope. Supports the development of working relationships with, but not limited to: Indigenous community leadership structures, community serving organizations, local municipalities connected with the Indigenous Fires impacted populations, relevant Indigenous Led Organizations, and key community contacts from impacted areas. Responsibility 3: Service Delivery Supports the implementation of CRC activities as per plans including ongoing needs assessments. Supports the initiation of new grant partnerships, including: drafting of decision papers, facilitating the development of contractual agreements (in consultation with Legal & Risk Services). processing approval memos, and managing/archiving documents. Contributes to the evaluation of the quality-of-service delivery and make recommendations to adjust plans to optimise response to cultural considerations and community priorities. Responsibility 4: Monitoring & Reporting Contributes to the design, input and finalization of internal status reports and dashboards. Contributes to monitoring progress of project activities and quality assurance, including the development of internal project monitoring tools, and providing input to improve program processes. Supports data analysis, reporting and evaluation of CRC led projects, including documenting best practices and lessons learned. What we are looking for : University degree, and 5 years of directly related experience OR an equivalent combination of education and experience, including lived and direct work with Indigenous communities. Preference will be given to candidates who identify as Indigenous. Experience working in partnerships with specific reference to working with Indigenous communities. Proven program design, management, and delivery experience in a complex environment essential. Experience in working with diverse populations and an understanding of cultural issues, specifically traditional Indigenous beliefs and practices related to maintaining wellness. Proven experience on community wellness programs that address the unique needs of Indigenous people. Strong oral and written communication skills in English essential. Familiarity in monitoring and evaluation systems. Experience in analyzing and synthesizing data to use it for reports writing. Fluency in an Indigenous language is an asset. Str
