We are looking for a proactive HR Generalist to support our HR Manager in streamlining day-to-day operations while driving strategic initiatives that enhance our firm?s communication and employee experience. In this role, you will be essential in maintaining employee culture, improving the employee experience, and ensuring compliance with employment laws.

*What You'll Be Doing:*
1. Recruitment & Onboarding:
- Report on and assist with staffing projections.
- Collaborate with HR Admin to craft engaging job postings.
- Oversee the turnaround and management of the recruiting process to obtain top talent.
- Conduct interviews and select candidates.
- Analyze and suggest compensation for offer letters.
- Facilitate a seamless onboarding experience for new employees, ensuring they feel welcomed and prepared from day one.
2. Employee Relations:
- Serve as a point of contact for routine employee concerns, mediating issues between staff and the principals with diplomacy.
- Provide first-level support for employee inquiries related to policies, benefits, and payroll, fostering a positive workplace culture.
- Liaise with the HR Committee to determine an action plan for employee concerns.
- Assist with performance management issues.
- Participate in the administration and delivery of annual performance reviews.
- Support our Saskatchewan office and its staff by working at least one day per month from the Swift Current location.
3. Compliance & Record-Keeping:
- Maintain accurate employee records and ensure all HR documentation is current and compliant with employment laws, including health and safety regulations.
- Support labor law reporting and help the organization stay compliant with all relevant regulations.
- Stay up to date on upcoming changes and proactively make suggestions to management..
4. Training & Development:
- Coordinate and administer employee training programs, ensuring that mandatory training requirements are met.
- Assist in organizing professional development opportunities that empower our employees to grow in their careers.
- Develop an internal training structure to assist employees in achieving their goals.
- Assist with the development of an employee succession roadmap.
5. People & Culture:
- Collaborate with the HR Manager on various administrative tasks and manage HR systems (Humi, DT, employee records, etc.).
- Regularly update and maintain employee handbooks and policy documents to reflect current practices and compliance.
- Create a weekly newsletter to update staff on changes and events.
- Update company SharePoint with relevant changes and information.
- Assist with planning major events.
- Identify gaps and create opportunities to improve the employee experience.
- Regularly connect with employees to maintain a ?pulse? on the firm culture.
- Act as an ambassador and perpetuate EBT's mission, vision, and values.
6. HR Data and Analytics
- Create HR-related reports.
- Monitor trends and analyze HR data; report on findings.
- Utilize software to maximize the employee experience.
7. Ah-hoc duties and projects as assigned
*Skills and Qualifications:*
- A post-secondary education in Human Resources or Business.
- Chartered Professional in Human Resources designation in good standing.
- At least five years of experience in a Human Resources posit
