*Job Description: *The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems while adhering to all safety regulations.
*Responsibilities:*
* Install, maintain, and repair plumbing systems, water supply networks and drainage systems.
* Read and interpret construction drawings and technical specifications.
* Measure, cut, bend and join pipes using the appropriate tools.
* Collaborate with Project Manager and other trades to ensure smooth coordination of projects.
* Conduct regular inspections of plumbing and drainage systems.
* Cut openings in floors and walls to accommodate pipe fittings and pipes.
* Keep accurate records of daily activities.
* Inspecting piping and fixtures for safety and code compliance.
* Perform general plumbing maintenance.
* Identify, diagnose and troubleshoot plumbing issues using appropriate testing devices.
* Repair and replace plumbing fixtures and systems.
* Test pipes for leaks using pressure gauges.
* Prepare cost estimates for repairs.
* Maintain knowledge of various test equipment.
* Adhere to building code and safety regulations.
*Requirements: *
* Completion of plumbing apprenticeship.
* Experience working as a plumber.
* Ability to read construction blueprints.
* Strong knowledge of plumbing and drainage systems.
* High school diploma.
* Mathematical aptitude with an ability to perform measurements.
* Valid driver?s license with own van and tools. (We supply vehicle allowance and tool repairs)
* Experience in residential, commercial, and/or industrial plumbing systems.
* Demonstrable ability to use hand tools.
* Strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritize.
* Thorough knowledge of safety procedures and legal regulations and guidelines.
* Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving ability.
* Excellent physical condition and flexibility to work long shifts and overnight.
