_Maintenance Fitter/Welder _ *Must live in the Belleville, Ontario Canada area.... with 50 km* * _*Salary relates to Experience.*_ We are in need of a Welder/Fitter with Experience in custom welding and fitting. * VALID Canadian welding Certification The person applying will need to be within travel distance to Belleville, Ontario. We need you to have good mathematical skills, able to work on your own, or in a shop group environment and have exceptional decision making skills and problem solving skills. We are looking for individuals with *3-5 years Experience in Structural Steel & Custom Fabricating*. This individual will need to be able to speak clearly and be able to understand all verbal and written direction and instructions. We offer competitive remuneration, benefit package, Tool/ Boot Allowance Must be able to work with other employees in an open shop atmosphere. Please be able to supply copies of Certificates if required. *Responsibilities include:* * Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine welding requirements. * Utilize hand and power tools to perform welding tasks, ensuring high-quality workmanship. * Execute various welding techniques, including MIG and TIG welding, to fabricate and assemble metal structures. * Conduct inspections of completed work to ensure compliance with safety standards and specifications. * Collaborate with team members in manufacturing and construction projects, maintaining effective communication throughout. * Maintain welding equipment and tools, ensuring they are in good working condition.
