*Job Summary* We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team to cover a 18 month maternity leave. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental hygiene care to our patients, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction during visits. *Duties* * Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing teeth. * Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental check-ups. * Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures as needed. * Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and maintain a clean working environment. * Sterilizing dental instruments and equipment * Maintain accurate patient records *Skills* * Strong customer service skills to create a welcoming environment for patients. * Knowledge of medical terminology * Proficiency with Dentrix or similar dental software is an asset * Experience in a dental office setting is preferred Join our team and contribute to making a positive impact on our patients' oral health while working in a supportive and professional environment! 18 month maternity leave coverage - Monday to Thursday 8am-4:30pm Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Schedule: * 8 hour shift Licence/Certification: * Dental Hygienist License (required) Work Location: In person- LocationHavelock, ON
