Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Sous Chef for our catering facility to join our team. As a Sous Chef, you will be responsible for supervising and managing a team, ensuring the highest level of customer service and food safety standards. Duties:
- Oversee daily operations of the Kitchen, including food preparation, service, and cleanliness
- Train and mentor staff members on proper food handling procedures and customer service
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain a clean and sanitary work environment
- Monitor inventory levels and place orders for supplies as needed
- Handle customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a professional manner
- Collaborate with the management team to develop and implement strategies to improve overall restaurant performance
- Maintain a positive work environment and motivate team members to deliver exceptional service
- Opening and Closing the kitchen
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in the restaurant or food industry is required
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage a team
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a high pressure environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
