Glama Gal Kids Spa Party Studio is currently looking for a talented and dynamic Studio Manager who shares our passion for creativity and events! *About Glama Gal Kids Spa Party Studio* Glama Gal Kids Spa Party Studio is an inspirational kids spa and arts and craft studio specializing in birthday parties, kids events and workshops, camps, spa packages and empowerment programs. We're not just any kids party studio. Since 2012, our main focus has always been inner beauty, self confidence and positivity. We strive to instil these core values in every child that walks through our doors. It's your job to make sure every child who walks through our doors feels special, has a great time and hopefully walks out the door with just a little more self-confidence and self-worth! *Job Requirements* We are looking for an experienced Studio Manager with a passion for kids, arts and crafts, creativity, event management and customer service. The ideal candidate will be outgoing, a willing team player, accomplished multi-tasker, an expert at managing kids events, comfortable with computer systems and communicating over telephone and email. He/she will have a warm and welcoming smile, a positive attitude and an outgoing, bubbly personality! You won't be afraid to be loud, entertain kids and bust out your best dance moves. To be successful in this job, you must be outgoing and enjoy working with kids. This position requires an applicant who is able to mainly work on weekends, and occasionally during the week (week day hours are minimal and flexible). This job is perfect for someone who is interested in early childhood education or anything related to child and youth care. *Job Duties and Responsibilities* * Answer all calls in a warm, professional, polite, and courteous manner. Deal with inquiries about our programs, services and pricing. * Schedule services using our reservations software system to maximize use of time within the studio. * Call guests to confirm details of their bookings. Update the reservations/cancellations list throughout the day. You will be required to learn our client management system. * Ensure all guest records are updated and inputted into the computer database according to training procedures, including rebooking, and email contact information. * Welcome guests to the studio and ensure the ultimate guest experience. Check in guests for appointments, confirm first and last name, and provide general orientation to guests upon arrival. * Process payments for services. Accept and log cash tips for employees. * Lead a small team of staff in organizing and hosting birthday parties, workshops and events for kids between the ages of 5 to 13 years. * Engage children in interactive activities that include storytelling, organized arts and crafts, singing, games and dance parties. * Perform basic, play-based spa services on kids - painting nails, basic hairstyles (curling, straightening, buns, braids), chocolate facials and light makeup application (lip gloss and eyeshadow only). \*\*Please note that we are not a regular spa and do not carry out typical spa type services found in an adult spa. You do not need to be a trained aesthetician to work at Glama Gals as we do not carry out any adult spa services.\*\* * Maintain the studio and other program areas by following the weekly cleaning checklist and performing assigned cleaning tasks. * Organize and prepare supplies required for parties. *Preferred Skills* * Ability to work in a faced paced environment. * Previous event management experience is an asset. * Exceptional customer service and communication skills. * Excellent working knowledge of computer systems (Word, Excel), social media and the ability to quickly and effectively learn our cu- LocationAjax, ON
