*Job Overview* We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Dishwasher to join our kitchen team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our kitchen and dining areas, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment are properly cleaned and sanitized. This position is essential in supporting our culinary staff and enhancing the overall dining experience for our guests. *Duties* * Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment. * Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area, including floors, counters, and cooking surfaces. * Assist with food preparation as needed, ensuring all ingredients are ready for cooking. * Properly handle food items according to health and safety regulations. * Help maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and report any shortages to management. * Ensure that all kitchen equipment is cleaned and stored properly after use. * Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient workflow during peak service times. * Adhere to all safety and sanitation policies in the kitchen environment. *Requirements* * Previous experience in a kitchen or restaurant setting is preferred but not required. * Knowledge of food handling and sanitation practices is a plus. * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. * Strong teamwork skills with a commitment to providing excellent hospitality service. * Willingness to help others in the kitchen as needed. * Ability to stand for long periods and lift heavy items when necessary. * Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as required by the restaurant's schedule.
