*Job Summary*
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Administrative Assistant to support our team in various administrative and accounting tasks. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounts payable, budgeting, and payroll management, with proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage. This role is essential for ensuring the smooth operation of our office and maintaining accurate financial records.
*Responsibilities*
* Manage accounts payable processes, including invoice processing and payment scheduling.
* Conduct account analysis to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
* Assist with budgeting activities by tracking expenses and preparing reports.
* Support payroll functions by collecting and verifying employee time records.
* Utilize accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, Sage) to maintain financial records and prepare reports.
* Perform clerical duties such as filing, data entry, and managing correspondence.
* Coordinate meetings, prepare agendas, and take minutes as needed.
* Maintain organized documentation for financial transactions and office operations.
*Qualifications*
* Proven experience as an Administrative Assistant or in a similar role with a focus on accounting tasks.
* Strong knowledge of accounts payable processes and basic accounting principles.
* Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage is preferred.
* Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial reporting.
* Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.

Pay: From $17.58 per hour
Expected hours: 20 ? 35 per week
