*Job Summary* We are seeking a skilled Industrial Painter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in painting industrial equipment and structures, ensuring high-quality finishes while adhering to safety standards. This role requires attention to detail, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. *Duties* * Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and applying primers as needed. * Apply paint using various techniques including spray painting, brushing, and rolling. * Operate power tools and hand tools safely and efficiently to complete painting tasks. * Collaborate with team members to assemble and disassemble equipment as required. * Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring compliance with safety regulations. * Perform basic maintenance on painting equipment and tools. * Utilize basic math skills for measuring and mixing paint accurately. * Demonstrate knowledge of lean manufacturing principles to enhance workflow efficiency. *Requirements* * Proven experience as an industrial painter or similar role is required. * Strong mechanical knowledge and ability to troubleshoot equipment issues. * Familiarity with machining processes is a plus. * Proficient in using power tools and hand tools effectively. * Basic math skills for accurate measurements and calculations. * Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work. * Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a dynamic environment.
