*Overview*
We are seeking a skilled Industrial Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assembling and installing various industrial machinery and equipment. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical systems, electrical components, and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues. The Industrial Mechanic will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our production processes.
*Responsibilities*
* Perform routine maintenance and repairs on industrial machinery and equipment.
* Assemble drag conveyors and components according to drawings
* Fabricate parts as needed to ensure machinery operates efficiently.
* The safe positioning and operation of aerial work platforms ( Manlift)
* The safe operation of hoisting and rigging
* Responsable for using and returning specific tools and equipment needed for task .
* Collaborate with other team members to improve operational efficiency and safety.
*Qualifications*
* Proven experience as an Industrial Mechanic or similar role in a construction environment.
* Strong knowledge of mechanical systems.
* Ability to analyze complex problems and develop effective solutions.
* Proficiency in assembling equipment according to schematics
* Familiarity with hoisting equipment
* Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
* A valid certification in awp/fall protection

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $28.00-$38.45 per hour
Additional pay:
* Bonus pay
* Overtime pay
Flexible language requirement:
* French not required
Schedule:
* 10 hour shift
* Monday to Friday
* Weekends as needed
Experience:
* millwright: 2 years (required)
Language:
* English (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
* Driving Licence (required)
* Fall protection (preferred)
Willingness to travel:
* 75% (preferred)
