Demands, duties, qualifications Duties: The Clinical Leader will provide supervision and leadership to Occupational Therapists who are required to assess functional abilities of injured and ill employees and assist with their rehabilitation and return to work programs. The leader will also conduct functional assessments to assist individual employees with occupational rehabilitation and return to work.The position will be responsible for the continued development, implementation and monitoring of an Injury Prevention program for Western Health employees. The position will also be required to enhance linkages and partnerships with Western Health's employees and managers to advance Occupational Rehabilitation and Ergonomic Services initiatives.Qualifications: Eligibility for registration with the Canadian Association of Occupational Therapists and membership with the Newfoundland and Labrador Occupational Therapy Board. The successful applicant must be able to demonstrate an acceptable level of knowledge in the field of Occupational Therapy in the area of vocational rehabilitation and must demonstrate the ability to oversee the operation of the entire Occupational Rehabilitation & Ergonomic Program.
