In this role, you will apply a variety of building and mechanical trade skills to plan, organize and direct inspection, maintenance and repair programs. You will ensure satisfactory operation of a large complement of electrical, plumbing, mechanical, heating and ventilation equipment.</span></span><br> </p></div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px"><b>Qualifications and Experience</b></H2></div><div><p><br><span style="font-size:14.0px"><span style="font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif">You possess a Grade 12 diploma (or equivalent), a Nova Scotia Journeyman Provincial Certificate and at least 2 years' experience as a Journeyman in one of the following trades: Plumber, Construction or Industrial Electrician, Steam Fitter/Welder. Consideration may be given to 5 years experience working as a building operator with experience in plumbing, electrical, steam fitting, boilers or construction. Experience is required in operating a variety of power tools and machinery.<br><br>To be considered for this position, you will have a good working knowledge of current construction safety regulations and practices, be able to read and interpret specifications and drawings and complete work on schedule with a minimum of supervision.
