*Overview* We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Automotive Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in automotive repair and maintenance, with the ability to diagnose and resolve issues efficiently. This role requires hands-on experience with various automotive systems, excellent customer service skills, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality in all repairs. *Duties* * Perform routine maintenance and repairs on vehicles, including oil changes, brake replacements, engine or transmission swaps and tire change. * Diagnose mechanical issues using schematics and technical manuals to determine the necessary repairs (Alldata). * Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for various automotive tasks. * Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to identify potential problems and recommend solutions to customers. * Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols. * Provide exceptional customer service by communicating repair needs clearly and answering any questions from clients. * Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of repairs. * Perform heavy lifting as required during the repair process, ensuring proper techniques are used for safety. * Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in automotive technology. *Requirements* * Proven experience as an Automotive Mechanic or similar role in a dealership or independent shop setting. * Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment related to automotive repair. * Ability to read and interpret schematics, manuals, and technical documents effectively. * Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail in diagnosing vehicle issues. * Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients regarding their vehicle needs. * Experience with welding is a plus but not mandatory. * Must be able to perform heavy lifting as needed during repairs. * A valid driver's license is required; additional certifications in automotive repair are preferred but not essential. Additionally, we are also looking for Auto Body Technicians and Automotive Apprentices (We can offer Apprenticeship).
