Title: Social Worker/Counsellor Department: Education, Xet'olacw Community School Status: Temporary, Maternity Leave Pay Grid: Social Worker = $80,371.20 - $91,673.40 annually Reporting to: Principal/Counseling Team Lead Summary of Duties: The Social Worker provides support services to XCS students both on and off reserve and provides trauma and culturally informed services to students aged 4-18 within a school-based setting, based on training and scope of practice. The Social Worker has the ability to connect, build and maintain safe relationships with students and their family who want to engage in support. Key Deliverables and Expectations: Provide individual and group prevention and skill enhancement services as needed.
