Position Summary... The Driver Team Leader teams up with our drivers to drive our business forward. The Driver Team Leader focuses on communicating expectations to ensure successful execution of assigned tasks. The Driver Team Leader manages a team of drivers in all aspects of safe, on-time delivery. The Driver Team Leader is responsible for planning, directing and monitoring the Fleet drivers. The position requires: strong planning, organizational, time management, customer service, and decision making skills.What you'll do... Responsible for assigned fleet of approximately 100 drivers, including, but not limited to effective management for optimum performance in the following categories: On-time pickup and delivery performance, off route miles, hours of service compliance, driver availability and cost control.
