Job Description Villa Colombo Toronto Nurse Practitioner (Permanent Full Time) Position Summary: Reporting to the Director, Resident Services and working closely with the Medical Director and all attending Physicians and specialists within an inter-disciplinary team, the Nurse Practitioner responds to the specialized needs of the residents. The Nurse Practitioner will support the registered staff and the inter-disciplinary team in all aspects of clinic care, leadership, education, and research. This will include providing education, mentorship and guidance in preventative care and prescribed treatments, conducting annual physicals, ordering clinical and diagnostic tests, and prescribing medication and treatment. Skills & Qualifications: Minimum one year clinical and/or working experience in geriatric, rehabilitation, or long-term care nursing. Leadership knowledge and/or experience are considered- LocationToronto, ON
