*Responsibilities*
* Greet patients and visitors warmly, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere.
* Manage phone systems, answering calls promptly and addressing inquiries or directing them to appropriate staff.
* Schedule appointments and maintain an organized calendar for healthcare providers.
* Verify patient information and insurance details, ensuring accuracy in electronic medical records.
* Process patient check-ins and check-outs efficiently.
* Assist with the management of medical records, including filing and retrieving documents as needed.
* Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception area and office supplies.
* Collaborate with medical staff to facilitate patient care and office operations.
*Skills*
* Proficiency in using electronic medical records systems.
* Strong understanding of medical terminology to communicate effectively with patients and healthcare professionals.
* Previous experience in a dental office or medical office setting is highly desirable.
* Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail for managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
* Strong interpersonal skills to foster positive relationships with patients and team members.
* Ability to operate standard office equipment and phone systems efficiently.
* Administrative skills that contribute to effective office management.
