*Job Summary* We are seeking a skilled Excavator Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience operating various types of excavators and heavy machinery, with a strong emphasis on safety and efficiency. The Excavator Operator will be responsible for performing excavation tasks on construction sites, ensuring that projects are completed accurately and on time. *Duties* * Operate excavators, including Caterpillar models, to dig trenches, foundations, and other earthworks. * Perform loader operation and backhoe operation as needed to support various construction activities. * Collaborate with site supervisors and other operators to ensure smooth workflow and adherence to project specifications. * Conduct routine maintenance checks on equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety standards. * Utilize mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor issues with machinery during operations. * Assist in building structures by moving materials and preparing sites for construction. * Operate graders and bulldozers when required for site preparation and grading tasks. * Engage in horizontal drilling operations as necessary for utility installations. *Requirements* * Proven experience as an Excavator Operator or similar role in the construction industry. * Proficiency in operating heavy machinery such as excavators, loaders, backhoes, graders, and bulldozers. * Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to perform basic equipment maintenance. * Valid commercial driving license is preferred but not mandatory. * Ability to work in various weather conditions and physically demanding environments. * Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols on-site. * Excellent communication skills to coordinate effectively with team members.
