*Job Overview*
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Psychology Associate to join our team. This role is essential in supporting the mental health and well-being of our patients, particularly children. The Psychology Associate will work closely with licensed psychologists and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care, conduct research, and assist in data collection. This position requires a strong understanding of psychological principles, especially in pediatric settings, and a commitment to patient care.
*Duties*
* Assist licensed psychologists in conducting assessments and evaluations for children.
* Provide support in the development and implementation of treatment plans.
* Engage with patients to collect data on their progress and behaviors.
* Participate in case management activities, ensuring continuity of care for patients.
* Conduct research related to psychological practices and patient outcomes.
* Utilize medical terminology effectively while communicating with healthcare teams.
* Maintain accurate records of patient interactions and treatment outcomes.
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams within hospital settings to enhance patient care.
*Requirements*
* Bachelor?s degree in Psychology or a related field; advanced education is a plus.
* Experience working with children, particularly in a clinical or educational setting.
* Knowledge of special education practices is preferred.
* Familiarity with medical terminology relevant to psychology and pediatrics.
* Strong skills in data collection and analysis for research purposes.
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
* Ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team environment.
* Previous experience in hospital settings or patient care is advantageous.
