*Job Overview*
We are seeking a professional and friendly Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our clients and visitors, providing exceptional customer service and administrative support. This role is crucial in maintaining a welcoming atmosphere while ensuring the smooth operation of daily office tasks.
*Responsibilities*
* Greet and assist clients and visitors in a courteous manner.
* Manage incoming phone calls, ensuring proper phone etiquette and directing calls to appropriate personnel.
* Perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently.
* Maintain organized filing systems for both physical and digital documents.
* Schedule appointments and manage calendars for staff members.
* Assist with administrative tasks such as proofreading documents, managing correspondence, and preparing reports.
* Handle billing inquiries and process payments using QuickBooks or similar software.
* Support the medical or dental office operations as needed, including managing patient records and ensuring compliance with privacy regulations.
*Skills*
* Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively.
* Proficiency in data entry with attention to detail.
* Experience in a medical office or as a dental receptionist is preferred but not required.
* Familiarity with QuickBooks is a plus.
* Excellent proofreading skills to ensure accuracy in documentation.
* Strong front desk management abilities, including maintaining a professional demeanor at all times.
* Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with an emphasis on phone etiquette.
* Administrative experience that showcases your ability to support office functions efficiently.
