Alta Care Resources provides Collaborative Service Delivery; this service is focused on child-centered outcomes and family-centered services to promote collaborative practices between Children Services staff and contracted services providers like Alta Care Resources. It is a model that builds upon the strengths of all stakeholders involved with a family and is practiced within the spirit of partnership. The Resiliency Development Manager - Lifelong Connections Specialist oversees case management for Permanent Guardianship Order (PGO) children. It is the role of the Lifelong Connections Specialist to ensure safety plans meet the needs of the children, as well as connections are built with the children, families, and service team to ensure there is a permanency plan for each child and steps required to support the family are executed identified and completed. The Lifelong Connections Specialist may also be responsible for facilitating Family Decision Making Circles (FDMC) with the family, service team, friends and community support. This also includes providing high quality family group conferences, family support circles, ceremonies and intense family searches (family finding). *Primary Accountabilities* * Family finding intake- meeting and form * Genograms * Case Management * Assessments * Meetings * Reports *Qualifications* · A diploma or degree in human services field diploma or fully certified within their field of practice and 2 years of work-related experience in a human services field · Excellent communication skills and organizational skills · Demonstrated skills in high-stress or conflict situations · A reliable vehicle and Driver?s License with proof of appropriate insurance, and a Drivers Abstract and Insurance Claim letter that reflects safe driving habits *Other Requirements:* A current, clear Police Information Check (vulnerable sector included) and Child Intervention Record Check, both dated within the last 6 months. A valid AB driver?s license (minimum class 5), proof of appropriate insurance, a Drivers Abstract and Insurance Claim letter that reflects safe driving habits. *Schedule: *Monday to Friday, 8 hours per day within any agency programs.
