_*Work Environment*_ The successful candidate will mostly work in a repair shop. Must be willing to learn and work in a team environment. The position will consist of frequently working in awkward positions, often climbing, stooping, crouching and kneeling. They will be occasional handling of heavy parts and tools and working in adverse weather conditions, including extreme cold and heat *Responsibilities:* Assist mechanic and maintain a clean and safe enviroment. Jack up vehicles, remove wheels, pick up and receive parts . Exercise good communication, and self discipline. Exercise safe work practices. _*Compensation*_ * Dental * Monthly tool allowance * Annual boot allowance * Sign up for apprenticeship Only those selected for interview will be contacted. Job Type: Full-time Pay: $22.00-$30.00 per hour Expected hours: 40 ? 50 per week Additional pay: * Overtime pay Benefits: * Dental care Flexible language requirement: * French not required Schedule: * Monday to Friday * Weekends as needed Experience: * Working in a shop: 1 year (preferred) Licence/Certification: * Driving Licence (preferred) Work Location: In person Expected start date: 2024-11-19- LocationDrayton Valley, AB
