*Overview* We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Daycare Teacher who is *bilingual with the* *French language or French immersion *to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating a nurturing and stimulating environment for children, fostering their growth and development through engaging educational activities. You will work closely with children of various ages, ensuring that each child receives the care and attention they need to thrive. *Note: *People living locally only will be considered for this position and need to apply. *Duties* * Participate actively in age-appropriate lesson plans and activities that promote early childhood education and learning. * Create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive classroom environment for all children. * Provide caregiving support to children, including assisting with daily activities such as meals, naps, and hygiene. * Educate children through play-based learning and structured activities that cater to their individual needs. * Monitor and assess children's progress, providing feedback to parents or guardians as necessary. * Foster positive relationships with children, encouraging social interaction and emotional development. * Collaborate with colleagues to create a cohesive teaching approach and share best practices. * Maintain a clean and organized classroom space that meets health and safety standards. *Qualifications* * Experience working with children in a daycare or educational setting is preferred. * A background in early childhood education or related field is highly desirable. * Strong caregiving skills with the ability to support children with disabilities effectively. * Excellent communication skills to interact positively with children, parents, and staff. MUST BE ABLE TO SPEAK AND UNDERSTAND FRENCH AT A BASIC LEVEL MINIMUM. * Patience, creativity, and enthusiasm for working with young learners in a classroom environment. * Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
