With your talents as a strategic partner in Compensation, you will help us improve the practices of the Compensation Strategy and Governance, Business Lines sector. <div>In this position, you will work on a large-scale project-the transformation of variable compensation programs, primarily for the Commercial Banking sector-that will have a long-term impact on the Bank. </div><div><br></div><div>This team reports to the Senior Manager - Compensation Strategy and Governance, Business Lines. It?s made up of about 20 passionate advisors and is a strategic partner to the business sectors. Collaboration and partnership are key to succeeding with a hybrid work model that the Bank favours for greater flexibility. </div><div><br></div><div>Your main challenges:</div><div><ul><li>Help the Bank's compensation practices to evolve </li><li>Understand business issues, identify stakeholders' needs, and suggest strategies that fit with the Bank's cultural shift and transformation </li><li>Guide the execution of various projects and mandates, act as an advisor for the various working committees, and provide alignment to guide strategic compensation decisions </li><li>Intervene strategically with various partners and support the implementation of activities by providing high-level expertise </li><li>Contribute actively to the professional development of your peers </li><li>Offer value-added advisory services and support in a cross-sector and matrix context that is constantly evolving </li><li>Develop and establish competitive and innovative compensation solutions, strategies, and guidelines that require buy-in from multiple stakeholders and meet business needs </li><li>Act as an expert by influencing and balancing the interests of multiple stakeholders </li><li>Represent the Bank and participate in information forums with external third parties to keep up with best compensation practices and help our practices and approaches to evolve </li></ul></div><div><br></div><div>Requirements</div><div><ul><li>Bachelor?s degree in a related field and 7 years of relevant experience OR master?s degree in a related field and 5 years of relevant experience OR university certificate and 9 years of relevant experience </li><li>Experience in compensation, particularly in developing compensation policies and programs </li><li>Able to navigate in situations that are ambiguous and that provide service to sectors in matrix mode </li><li>Recognized for your agility, proactivity, and curiosity in solving problems, managing stakeholders, and providing advisory service </li><li>Ability to be a positive leader within a team </li><li>Excellent command of Excel and knowledge of Success Factors is an asset </li><li>Bilingualism, spoken and written (English and French) </li></ul></div><div><br></div><div> </div><div> </div><div> </div><div></div> <strong>Your benefits</strong><div><br></div><div><br></div><div>In addition to competitive compensation, upon hiring you?ll be eligible for a wide range of flexible benefits to help promote your wellbeing and that of your family.</div><div><ul><li>Health and wellness program, including many options</li><li>Flexible group insurance</li><li>Generous pension plan</li><li>Employee Share Ownership Plan</li><li>Employee and Family Assistance Program</li><li>Preferential banking services</li><li>Opportunities to get involved in community initiatives</li><li>Telemedicine service</li><li>Virtual sleep clinic</li></ul></div><div>These are a few of the benefits available to you.
