Our dynamic work environment and culture encourage employees to maximize their potential and growth through teamwork and learning This position?s primary responsibilities are to design development, maintenance and servicing pumps and equipment and maintain an orderly building and fleet. *Business Address: *43645 Industrial Way, Chilliwack, BC V2R 4L2 *Location of work: *Chilliwack, BC *Terms of employment: *Permanent, full-time *Language of work: *English *Wage: *$35.00/ hour *Hours: *47.5 hours/week *Job duties:* * Design development of submersible pumps * Service pumps, motors, reels, fusers and other Irrigation equipment, sometimes travelling to customer/jobsite to complete or inspect * Keep shop and service areas neat and organized * Inspect products to determine the requirements for repair * Inspection and Mechanical Maintenance of equipment, fleet and buildings * Assist as needed with tasks across maintenance and logistics departments * Computer-aided design (CAD) / AutoCAD * Participate in the installation of pumps. *Requirements* Education * Mechanical Engineering Technician Diploma Experience * Must have over 3 years of experience working as a mechanical engineering technician/technologist * Must have experience with AutoCAD/ Inventor 3D programs * Must have prior experience related to designing and development with Irrigation Equipment and/or Submersible pumps. Skills required * Computer-aided design (CAD) / AutoCAD * Operation monitoring of Machinery and Equipment * Troubleshooting * Preventative maintenance * Able to work independently * Quality control testing * Strong task orientation with attention to detail * Excellent time management skills and a team player * Aptitude for operating a computer *Benefits package being offered:* Dental, extended medical, disability (long and short term), and RRSP matching (at 2 percent rate) after 3 months of full-time employment with the company. *Job Contact Information:* jobsatsouthernirrigation1@gmail.com *Applications must be accompanied by cover letter and resume. * Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: $35.00 per hour Expected hours: 47.5 per week Work Location: In person- LocationChilliwack, BC
