Prepare tenders and quotations. Repair and service gas appliances and related equipment. Instruct apprentices. Advise clients regarding standards, safety features and maintenance of gas units and systems. Supervise other workers. Supervision: 1 to 2 people. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Occupational Health and Safety Certificate. Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate. Gas Fitter Certificate - Level 2 or B. Security and safety: Bondable. Driver's validity licence check. Transportation/travel information: Valid driver's licence. Own transportation. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Fast-paced environment. Tight deadlines. Handling heavy loads. Physically demanding. Attention to detail. Standing for extended periods.
