As part of our continued growth, we are looking for a *Tractor Driver* who will be responsible for picking up and delivering freight/loads in a timely and safe and secure manner. This role reports to the Operation Supervisor. The incumbent takes charge of the entire loading/picking/delivering/completing paperwork process to ensure all orders are complete and meet appointment times. This position will mainly run from Kamloops to Vernon daily. *Responsibilities:* § Maintains process management, and paperwork § Use ELD § Get customer signature on a tablet app at time of pickup and delivery § Ensures compliance with all appropriate policies, best practices and safety rules § Willing to work occasional extended hours as required and able to handle up to 50 pound boxes § Other duties as required *Qualifications & Key Competencies:* § Class 1 Drivers Licence § Experience in a similar role for 2 years desirable § Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing § Good analytical and mathematical skills § Strong organizational skills; attention to detail § Ability to meet urgent deadlines § Excellent problem-solving skills; ability to resolve issues effectively and efficiently *Hours and Location:* § Monday to Friday: 07:00 ? 16:30 § Terminal Location: Kamloops, BC *Remuneration:* $29.00 - $31.00 per hour based on experience *Benefits:* § A supportive work environment § Medical benefits plan § KPI Bonus plan *Intended Job Posting Audience:* Anyone who can legally work in Canada Interested and qualified applicants should forward resumes: To: Shane Rumpel shaner@appscargo.com , Mike michaelp@appscargo.com or compliance@appscargo.com We thank all applicants for their interest however only those selected for an interview will be contacted. _*Please note that Apps Cargo Terminals is an Employment Equity company*_ Job Type: Full-time Pay: $29.00-$31.00 per hour Additional pay: * Bonus pay * Overtime pay Benefits: * Casual dress * Dental care * Extended health care * Life insurance * Paid time off * Vision care Flexible language requirement: * French not required Schedule: * 10 hour shift * 8 hour shift * Day shift * Monday to Friday Experience: * mountain driving: 2 years (required) Language: * English (required) * effectively communicate both orally and written in english (required) Licence/Certification: * Class 1 Licence (required) Work Location: In person- LocationKamloops, BC
