*Job Overview* We are seeking a skilled Drafter to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating detailed shop drawings and plans using Revit. This role requires a keen eye for detail and the ability to interpret Architectural drawings, ensuring accuracy and compliance with industry standards. The Drafter will collaborate with engineers and general contractors to bring projects from concept to completion. *Duties* * Provide shop drawings submittals in compliance with contract documents, and within the specified budget and timeline. * Analyze architectural drawings, specifications, site instructions, request for information, request for change orders and other documentations to prepare shop drawings for approval by project management and clients. * Revise shop drawings based on mark-ups by architect, engineer, and code consultants to achieve total approval of the project; Keep log and quantify all changes to site instructions, request for information and change orders. * Provide complete fabrication documents in accordance with the project timeline, prepare layouts, fabrication, and installation sketches for internal shop fabrication & field installation * Prepare final record set of shop drawings based on approved mark-ups. * Maintain library of standard details, parts, and programs. * Develop, maintain, and follow standard templates and fabrication guidelines\* * Provide technical assistance to Project Management team. * Prepare take offs for material and hardware. * Prepare quote requests and purchase orders. * Other duties as required. *Requirements* * Proficiency in Revit, essential. * Strong understanding of drafting principles and building codes. * Ability to create accurate technical drawings. * Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. * Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members. * A degree or certification in drafting, architecture, or a related field is preferred but not required.
