Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Bakery Clerk to join our team. As a Bakery Clerk, you will be responsible for assisting customers, preparing bakery items, and maintaining a clean and organized bakery department. Duties: - Prepare bakery items such as bread, pastries, cakes, and cookies - Operate kitchen equipment including mixers, ovens, and dough sheeters - Package bakery items for sale and ensure proper labeling - Maintain cleanliness and organization of bakery display cases and work areas - Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure product quality and safety Experience: - Previous experience in the food industry or a bakery setting is preferred but not required - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail We offer competitive pay rates and opportunities for career growth within our organization.
