Job details
*Duties;* - Ensure the safety and well-being of children at all times. - Monitor children's activities to prevent accidents or injuries. - Help children engage in group play or solo activities depending on their interests. - Create a friendly, welcoming environment for children to feel comfortable and entertained. - Maintain an organised, clean environment that is hygienic and safe for children in the Play Area - Interact with children and parents appropriately - Comforting children in distress - Ensure Play Rules are being followed (no shoes, no sharp objects, no food, etc) - Assist children with going up/down stairs - Sanitize toys and play equipment *Requirements*; - MUST HAVE prior experience working with children (teacher, childcare, babysitter, etc) - MUST HAVE valid First Aid/CPR certification and be comfortable with providing First Aid/CPR, if ever required - Must be a happy person who loves interacting and playing with children - Must be fluent in English - Minimum high-school diploma required - Early Childhood Education is an asset Job Types: Part-time, Permanent, Casual Pay: $20.00 per hour Expected hours: No more than 30 per week Additional pay: * Bonus pay * Overtime pay * Tips Benefits: * Company events * Flexible schedule * On-site parking Flexible language requirement: * French not required Schedule: * 10 hour shift * 12 hour shift * 4 hour shift * 8 hour shift * Day shift * Evening shift * Every Weekend * Holidays * Morning shift * Night shift * On call * Weekends as needed Experience: * Experience with children: 1 year (preferred) Language: * English (required) Licence/Certification: * First Aid Certification (required) * CPR Certification (required) Work Location: In person Application deadline: 2024-11-21 Expected start date: 2024-11-23- LocationVaughan, ON
