*Job Summary:* We are seeking a dedicated Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in providing quality dental care and support to patients in a professional and compassionate manner. We are looking for an assistant that is punctual, reliable, energetic and ready to be a part of fast paced team! *Duties:* - Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures in general dentistry - Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment - Take and develop digital x-rays with appropriate quality assurance - Taking impressions and pouring models when needed - Manage patient flow within the office - Providing oral hygiene instructions and post-operative care instructions *Qualifications:* - Previous experience as a Dental Assistant or in a relevant role is preferred - Clinical chairside assisting with knowledge of dental terminology, instruments, and sterilization methods - Ability to work well in a team environment - Excellent communication skills with the ability to provide clear instructions to patients - Certification or diploma from an accredited dental assisting program, HARP certified *Office Hours:* Monday - Thursday: 7:30am - 5:00pm Friday: 7:30am - 12:30pm \*Hours and wages can be discussed at time of interview. Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent Pay: $30.00-$35.00 per hour Benefits: * Dental care * On-site parking Schedule: * Day shift * Monday to Friday * No weekends Experience: * Dental Assisting: 1 year (preferred) Licence/Certification: * Certified Dental Assistant (preferred) Work Location: In person- LocationSarnia, ON
