Warehouse Assistant Manager Overview: We are seeking a dedicated Warehouse Assistant Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in overseeing the daily operations of our warehouse facility. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to lead a team effectively. Duties: - Manage and supervise warehouse staff to ensure efficient and safe operation - Coordinate with the Warehouse Manager to prioritize tasks and workflow - Utilize Netsuite WMS system for inventory management and order processing - Operate reach trucks and other equipment for package handling - Oversee warehouse distribution activities, including order picking, loading, unloading, shipping, and receiving - Perform heavy lifting tasks as needed - Train new employees on warehouse procedures and safety protocols - Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment - Assist in resolving any issues or discrepancies that may arise during operations - Collaborate with team members to achieve department goals - Communicate effectively with customers and vendors -Assist with inventory tracking procedures Experience: - Previous experience in a warehouse setting required - Familiarity with Netsuite WMS system is a plus, experience with other WMS systems is a must. - Proficiency in operating reach trucks and other warehouse equipment - Strong knowledge of order picking processes and inventory management - Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks as required - Excellent communication and leadership skills - Attention to detail and accuracy in work - Prior experience with forklift and power jack operation is necessary Join our team as a Warehouse Assistant Manager and be part of a dynamic work environment that values teamwork, efficiency, and continuous improvement.
