*Overview*
We are seeking a detail-oriented Calibration Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical background and the ability to work with precision instruments. Support the sales team by calibrating, repairing, and verifying a variety of equipment in the calibration laboratory in a precise and efficient manner. The tasks also include warehouse duties, offering exceptional customer service, sending quotes, and other duties.
*Responsibilities*
* Maintain, repair, and calibrate a variety of quality control equipment in-house or at our clients' locations, ensuring their proper functioning and accuracy (magnetic benches, demags, gaussmeters, shunt meters, x-ray systems, liquid penetrant line dryers, radiation detection portals and more).
* Perform verification, maintenance, repair, and calibration of a variety of electronic devices in our facility as part of our sales, repair, and calibration service.
* Support the sales team with answering the phone, sending quotes, doing some inside sales, and providing customer support.
* Develop relationships with current and future customers while ensuring sales growth.
* Maintaining the customer database.
* Receiving and shipping goods (truck and courier).
* Prepare and assemble the orders.
* Prepare bill of ladings and other documents.
* Welcome our carriers and customers when picking up parcels.
* Ensuring the warehouse is properly stocked (work with head office).
* Any other duties related to the job.
*Requirements*
* Minimum of 2 years of experience in repairing industrial electronic equipment, demonstrating a strong understanding of repair and maintenance processes.
* Developed manual dexterity, capable of performing repair and assembly tasks with precision and efficiency (mechanical and electrical).
* Strong attention to detail to detect calibration discrepancies.
* Dynamic and self-sufficient, you will have to work alone or as a team.
* Excellent customer service skills for addressing client needs.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $19.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
