*Tool Room Attendant * At Powerline Plus we focus on three main operations, Electrical, Civil Construction and Engineering & Design. Powerline Plus Ltd. provides quality solutions to public utilities, municipalities and developers, as well as to industrial, national and international manufacturing companies across the GTA. *JOB OVERVIEW* *Department: *Fleet *Reports to: *Mechanic Shop Supervisor *Location:* Toronto (Scarborough), ON, Canada *Job Type:* Full-Time, Days *Start Date:* Immediately Tool Room Attendant at Powerline Plus Ltd. Inventories, stores, and distributes hand tools and various equipment, maintains tool functionality, calibration specifications and safe condition by performing frequent inspections of tools and equipment for wear defects, or damage. *SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS* _The successful candidate will possess the following qualifications:_ * Completion of Secondary School * A minimum of three (3) years of work experience in the trade * Ability to troubleshoot equipment with a strong mechanical aptitude * Valid G? Ontario Driver?s License with clean driver?s abstract required; Class DZ or better considered an asset * Physically capable of meeting the job requirements; ability to lift up to fifty (50) pounds, ability to bend, stoop, kneel, and safely climb a ladder * Advance knowledge of MS office applications *DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES* *Tool room attendant role includes but not limited to the following duties:* * Inventory, store and distribute tools and equipment * Perform routine maintenance of small tools * Troubleshoot performance issues * Test repaired equipment for proper performance * Complete the associated service paperwork and update and maintain all service records * Data entry _ *Powerline reserves the right to add or subtract job roles/responsibilities as company needs may change.*_ *CORE COMPETENCIES* * Professional * Organized * Punctual * Detail Oriented * Team Player * Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines _Powerline Plus welcomes and encourages applications from people with disabilities.
