Due to continued growth within our Underground Utilities division, we are currently seeking an experienced Project Manager / Estimator. You will be part of a rapidly growing group with room to grow within the company.
You will be reporting directly to the Underground Utilities Division Manager.

*Duties and Responsibilities:*
* Manage the project and direct team members to ensure work is carried out in alignment with the planned schedule and cost budget targets, and be responsible for overall project health.
* Provide strong leadership to project team members, capitalizing on individual and group strengths to ensure project targets are achieved.
* Oversees the start-up and close-out of project, review, approve and process invoices; submit project claims to meet monthly accounting schedule deadlines.
* Ensure that the testing and inspection requirements outlined in the Project Quality Control Plan are performed, documented, and submitted to the owner in a timely and efficient manner.
* Review plans & specifications to determine scope of work and to define project requirements.
* Document, negotiate, assess, and manage contract changes and supplemental agreements made by the owner and/or subcontractor(s); direct preparation and approval of Daily Force Account Reports (DFAR?s), extra work orders, and change orders.
* Responsible for planning and logistics: work plan, methodologies, and material approvals; management of activities, equipment, staff, materials, and resources required by the project to ensure they are available prior to the actual work occurring.
* Controlling time management and setting realistic deadlines.
* Cost estimating, developing a budget, frequent review of the budget to avoid overturn.
* Develop and complete estimates for tender submissions on small, medium, and large-scale civil construction projects.
* All aspects of project management including job management, change management, risk management, safety, delegation, environmental, client interface, operations, billing, collections, etc.
* Communicate with clients and stakeholders to develop and maintain solid, long-term relationships.
*Qualifications and Experience*
* 3-5 years experience in a project management position.
* Bachelor?s degree, or post secondary education in Construction Management, engineering, business or related field is preferred.
